COVID-19

The outdoor industry, as with all industries, has been drastically changed in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This is a time when many of us actually need the mountains and the fresh air the most. We thank you for your patience as we navigate these unsteady times in an effort to deliver a safe, and high quality product.

Please read through our policies and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Our Policies:

• Physical Distancing - Will be observed at all available opportunities. This may change the structure of classroom sessions, travel logistics, and other variables.

• Mask/PPE - Will be worn whenever it is not possible to maintain distance. Masks will be available but you are encouraged to bring your own re-usable one.

• Sanitization - All shared gear or equipment will be sanitized after each day, and hand sanitizer will be available.

• Travel - Any one who has travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days will not be able to join us on a trip, with an exception if they can produce a negative COVID test from their doctor. Likewise, if we will be travelling through small or rural communities we will limit our contact time in those areas.

Screening:

• Pre Screening - When you book you will be required to submit a pre screening form to screen for high risk behaviour or symptoms, and file a declaration of health.

• Daily Screening - On the day of your trip, or every day on a multi-day trip, you will be required to submit a short screening form along with a temperature reading.

Cancellation:

Day tours & Courses

<48 hrs in advance, for any reason, you will forfeit 100% of the cost

>48 hrs in advance, for COVID related reasons you will be credited 100% of the trip cost for 1 calendar year. Cancellation do to other reasons will result in forfeiting 50% of the trip cost, or rescheduled at no extra cost.

14+ days in advance, you will be refunded in full, or rescheduled at no extra cost.

Multiday Trips

30+ days in advance, for any reason, you will be refunded in full

30-14 days in advance you will forfeit the deposit, or 20% of the trip cost.

14 days or less in advance and you will forfeit 100% of the trip cost. If the cancellation is due to travel restrictions or other similar complications due to COVID, you will be credited 80% of the trip cost for 1 calendar year.
